In 2018 we received a written permission of the PR department of VLM Airlines to start a virtual variant of the company.
We began building a website making use of their color scheme and altered logos. The real timetables and choice of aircraft were used, covering the period of the year 2000 until 2018.
With great sadness we took notice of the news that VLM Airlines ended all activities, late 2018.
We decided to keep the memory alive of this great little airline and continued VLM Virtual Airlines. We took the liberty to expand with a charter division, to offer our pilots more freedom of choice in choosing a destination to fly to in several types of aircrafts.
In 2023 we celebrated our 5th anniversary with an expansion. Next to VLM Virtual Airlines we thought it appropriate to give hommage to another great Belgian airline which seized to excist, hence Sabena Virtual.
